Configuration
kyma.yaml sets the style every slide starts from, named presets a slide can opt into, and master layouts.
Where kyma looks
With -c, that file. Otherwise ./kyma.yaml, then $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/kyma/kyma.yaml, then ~/.config/kyma/kyma.yaml, which kyma writes on first run.
Global
global holds the style, transition and master every slide starts from. This is the one kyma writes on first run:
kyma.yaml
global:
style:
border: rounded
border_color: "#9999CC"
layout: center
theme: dracula
transition: nonePresets
kyma.yaml
presets:
minimal:
style:
border: hidden
theme: notty
transition: none
dark:
style:
border: rounded
theme: dracula
transition: swipeLeftA slide picks one with preset: dark, and starts from the preset instead of global.
Masters
Named master layouts. See Grids and master layouts.
Precedence
A slide’s own front matter wins. A key it leaves out comes from its preset, and a slide without a preset takes it from global.
